There has been a lot going on with the Scottish Bakers in the last couple of months...The World Championship Scotch Pie Awards, the launch of the Scottish Baker of the Year 2020 and the Presidential Dance. We have some highlights from each here.
World Championship Scotch Pie Awards
We were excited to be involved for the first year in the prestigious Scotch Pie Championships. We sponsored the Hot Savoury category and Tim Andrew, John Graham and Gerry Murray attended the glitzy awards ceremony on 14th January which was hosted by the wonderful Carol Smillie. Congratulations to all award winners and of course special mention to the World Champion, James Pirie & Son!

Scottish Baker of the Year 2020 Launch
We are new to this competition for 2020 as sponsors of the 'Individual Cake' category. In February Colin and Gerry attended the launch day in Inverness, which was hosted by none other than Mich Turner!

Scottish Bakers Presidential Dance
Then, also in February, John Graham and his wife Catherine, along with Gerry Murray and his wife Annette, attended the Presidential Dance in the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow hosted by the fabulous Edward Reid. There was lots of dancing, fun, great food and entertainment, which seems to be a running theme with anything the Scottish Bakers organise!
