Every year Andrew Ingredients run a workshop and competition at TU Dublin with BSc Baking and Pastry Arts students. This year it was 1st years that wowed us with their superb 'Mousse Cake' creations!

The event was held on 29th January at TU Dublin Cathal Brugha Street. Finbar, Caitlin and TU Dublin tutor James Griffin, ran the students through a number of our ingredients that would be used to make mini mousse cakes. Thanks to Martin Braun and Dobla for supplying the impressive ingredients and decorations.

The students split into groups and went off to create their own masterpieces using the supplied ingredients. Marks were awarded for visual appeal, flavour combination and product and team names.

We were so impressed by the creativity and talent of the whole class, especially since they were only in their second term of the course. The winning team was "Don't Mousse with Us" who created some really innovative and delicious cakes.
